Welcome to Crescent Moon Yoga and Healing Center. We are a neighborhood community yoga center and take pride in giving personalized attention to our students.

We offer Gentle Yoga classes, Level 1 classes for beginners, Level 1 & 2 classes for an intermediate practice, and Level 2 practice for more advanced practitioners. We have private classes available throughout the day whether you are an athlete or have special needs. We go outside the studio for Corporate Accounts that include stress reduction programs, massage and yoga classes.

Crescent Moon has been holding Yoga Retreats for many years now and will keep this site updated on the locations of the upcoming events in the years and seasons to follow. Click HERE for our coming events!

Instructors

Dianne Murphy is an Advanced Kripalu Certified  Instructor and has affiliation with the practices of Iyengar, Anusara and Ashtanga yoga.  She is a Licensed Massage Therapist, a Reiki practitioner, a Yoga Therapist and a member of the Yoga Alliance.  She has a background in Russian Ballet and has taught Yoga for 17 years.  Her most recent education includes the study of Ayurvedic Medicine, the sister science of yoga.  Patricia Hansen, International Teacher and protege of Vasant Lad of the Ayurvedic Institute in New Mexico,  has been holding classes at Crescent Moon for two years.

Dianne has two sons, Greg and Nick. Greg is an ASU Business School graduate and Nick is an ASU graduate, currently a punter for the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs.

Veva Eickelberg has practiced yoga over 8 years and following a year long mentored training experience became certified and has taught yoga for 7 years. Veva has been a competitive runner for over 20 years, and her degree in Radiologic Technology has given her a strong understanding of skeletal and musculature anatomy.  She maintains and expands her expertise with personal practice and participation and attendance in worldwide training and advanced course work in many different yoga disciplines.  Veva has two sons active in sports.  Yoga has been effective for them in their sports as well as other teammates.  She is studying Italian and has enjoyed teaching in Italy. 

   
Rasoul Sobhani, RYT, has been a yoga teacher for more than 6 years and martial artist for more than 20 years. He is a 3rd degree black belt in Praying Mantis Kung Fu and Kuk Sul Won (Royal Korean Martial Arts). He has taught Yoga and Tai Chi thorughout the valley in Yoga sudios, fitness and health clubs, churches and with children where his style of teaching has earned him respect and appreciation.
    Kara has been practicing yoga for over 12 years, emphasizing on Viniyoga, Iyengar, and Viniyasa flow styles. Movement disciplines have been a major part of Kara's life since early childhood. Observing all the benefits that she has experienced from her own practice, coupled with her natural ability to teach, led Kara on the path of becoming a yoga teacher. Kara has a degree in Psychology and Communication from Bond University, Australia and is registered with the Yoga Alliance.
